New registrants please contact us to determine the correct

program for you.

To register for the upcoming season complete the following steps:​​

  1. Register with Row Canada (RCA) to activate your liability insurance. Follow RCA registration instructions (for new & returning members).

  2. Complete LRC's "Registration, Image Consent & Concussion Code of Conduct" form.

  3. Email the completed LRC form to ​lasallerowingclub1@gmail.com

  4. Pay via e-transfer to lasallerowingclub1@gmail.com

    • In the message area, state participant's name & program

Residents of Windsor-Essex county who meet the eligibility requirements may register to participate in the P2P (Pathway to Potential) Program

What's included in your membership

We are a 100% volunteer-run club. Our members come from all walks of life and take on different roles to help our club flourish! 

Membership Term
  • From April 1 to March 31 of the next year

  • All memberships, regardless of start date, expire on March 31 .

Rowing Opportunities for All Experience Levels

Programs 

  • Masters Rec (Adults)

  • Masters Competitive (Adults)

  • Para

    • For persons with physical or intellectual impairments/disability.

  • Juniors (13 - 17 years old)

Enjoy rowing on the beautiful Detroit River with the support of a welcoming and friendly community.

  • Sign up for as many rows as you want within your program

  • In-Club Competitions: Fun, friendly competitions amongst club members

  • Social gatherings

  • Regattas/Competitions: For those aiming to race at regional regattas (on-water or in-door)​​

We offer a variety of boats to suit your comfort and skill level:

  • Coastal boats (singles)

  • Sculling boats (singles, doubles, quads)

  • Sweep boats (fours, eights)​​

On-Water Rowing Season (approx April to Early-November)
  • Rows (depending on your program) are offered multiple times per week

    • Typical Rowing Schedule for Adult Recreation members:

      • Monday to Friday:

        • Morning sessions (experienced rowers)

        • Evening sessions (~6:30 PM)

      • Saturday: Morning session (~8:00 AM)

      • Sunday: Morning session (~9:00 AM)

  • Sign up for as many rows as you want  

  • All on-water sessions have a member who volunteers to operate a safety boat with the rowers.​

Winter Training Season: Mid-November to the end of March
  • 12 Concept2 rowing machines

  • Coached sessions twice a week (depending on your program)

  • Multiple open rowing sessions are available throughout the week
